Video poetry is a media format where poem, image and sound act together. It is also known as video poems, poetry films or cine-poetry. A good video poem is the one that can "unite" poem, image and music into a great work of art. Some critics call it "a perfect marriage of image and words". Author's meaning is deepened by visual images . On the other hand, graphics and animation deepen viewer's experience. Today, video poetry is often used by students as themes for short films.
